reb1138 A soothing listen, very reminiscent of older video game soundtracks like Age of Empires.

Dino synth is here to stay. Favorite track: Last Stronghold of Koolasuchus.

Kaptain Carbon Since putting this release in the queue for review, Synthosaurus has released two other records both of them not straying too far from this sound. if you enjoy the sound of prehistoric themed dungeon synth / woozy new age, then you are in for a treat since Synthosaurus brings the FUN to a genre that is sometimes to busy with cloaks and candles to crack a smile. I love this so much and am hesitantly watching other creature based DS rise out of the tar pits to reclaim the earth. Favorite track: The Deccan Traps.

Daniel Ich benötige auf jeden Fall tapes, shirts, buttons, Aufnäher, bettbezüge, Kaffeetassen und weiteren Merch für mich!

ttulka Great tunes with a bit of self-irony. Dino synth becomes my favorite sub-genre.

Many, many years ago... when dinosaurs ruled the earth... somewhere during that time there was a big explosion... Suddenly a keyboard appeared and the dinosaurs were baffled, especially the T-Rex. Somehow they managed to master the arts of the synthesized new machine and this recording you are listening to right now was discovered by a team of scientists just recently...

Updated information:

Once again the scientists, working around the clock to discover these dinosaur master tapes, found a complete album. The question is now... how did the dinosaurs manage to record these songs onto tape? To be continued.

released April 27, 2020

From "Digging for Dinosaurs" written by Edwin H. Colbert and William A. Burns, illustrated by George J. Geselschap. Published by Children’s Press, 1960.
