MarsDragoner The variety of the styles and moods certainly adds to the peculiar strangeness of this album. The characteristic slow stomping beats are still there but occasionally complemented by darkwave and even EBM passages. Really makes you think what these cretaceous beasts were up to back then. The album ends with a slow and distorted ambient piece to complete the confusion. At the end of it all, the entirety feels slightly disjointed but the confluence of weirdness ties everything together neatly. Favorite track: Death in Slowmotion.

Background:

Many, many years ago... when dinosaurs ruled the earth... somewhere during that time there was a big explosion... Suddenly a keyboard appeared and the dinosaurs were baffled, especially the T-Rex. Somehow they managed to master the arts of the synthesized new machine and this recording you are listening to right now was discovered by a team of scientists just recently...

Updated information:

After the scientists found the first batch of dino recordings... they spent the last couple of years digging up more. However for years... the material was classified - until now. What they found was incredible. They were able to discover 6 more albums. These fossils will be added around the date that they were initially found. Vol. 2 of the Classified Dino Files will be out next at an appropriate time.
